Andcor places VP of Sales & Marketing

Andcor Companies, Inc., the executive search firm for emerging growth companies, is pleased to announce BioDrain Medical Inc., an early stage company committed to the development of innovative products that safely dispose of infectious fluids generated from surgical procedures, has named Kirsten Doerfert vice president of sales and marketing.

Kirsten brings to BioDrain over 25 years experience in worldwide medical device sales and marketing leadership, primarily focused in major surgical markets. From 2007 to 2008 and from 1999 to 2004, Kirsten served as a senior executive at Urologix in the positions of senior vice president and general manager, vice president, business development and strategic planning, and vice president of global marketing. From 2005 to 2007, Kirsten served as vice president of marketing for Gyrus ACMI’s surgical division. Prior positions include sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility at Circon Corporation and Corometrics Medical. In addition, Kirsten spent 8 years in clinical practice as a registered nurse. She holds both an Associates Degree and Bachelors of Science in nursing from Clemson University and Georgia State University respectively.
