Spinal Desigs International expands management team to support growth

Wayzata, MN – November 9, 2005

Andcor Companies and Spinal Designs International, Inc., provider of the evidence-based LIFEBACK Spine Programs, are pleased to announce the recent addition of Lisa Lavin, formerly of 3M Health Care, as vice president and chief operating officer. In this newly created role, Lisa will provide operations management including corporate operations and new business development to support planned sales growth.

In addition to the search resulting in the placement of Lisa at Spinal Designs, Andcor also assisted in the recruitment of the company's marketing director, Jim Trevis, formerly of Kodak Health Imaging, and its regional partner relations manager, Amy Wessman, formerly of BioLucent.

Prior to joining Spinal Designs, Lisa served as global marketing manager for 3M Health Care, where she assisted in the development of its new BioDetection product platform. Previously, she held a variety of leadership positions at Phillips Medical Systems North America, the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine, the Medical Institute of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota's Veterinary Teaching Hospital. In addition, Lisa is the author of Radiography in Veterinary Technology, Editions 1-4, which is considered the gold standard in its class and utilized globally as a teaching and technical aid for the field of veterinary radiography.
