Cortron Corporation names Christopher Conway Chief Operating Officer

Wayzata, MN – January 24, 2005

Cortron Corporation, an emerging company specializing in the development and manufacturing of high quality pre-press equipment and software for the graphic arts industry, has chosen Christopher L. Conway as chief operating officer. Conway was selected after Cortron retained Andcor Companies, Inc., the venture catalyst for Minnesota's most promising emerging companies, to coordinate the extensive search process.

Prior to his most recent role as director of corporate technology for Donaldson Company, Inc., a leading provider of filtration systems and replacement parts, Conway held a variety of leadership positions within corporate development, engineering and manufacturing for both Donaldson Company and Hoffman, Inc., a subsidiary of Pentair, Inc's enclosures business. He began his career at Deere & Company in 1977.

Cortron recently emerged from an R&D phase centered around a revolutionary UV lighting technology that promises higher quality and faster processing of photopolymeric plates for the flexographic printing industry. Conway, who assumed this role on January 3, 2005, will lead all operational aspects of the company and its growth through the introduction of new technology and products. Product engineering, sales, and operations will report directly to Conway.
