Wayzata, MN – November 28, 2006

Kevin Davidson named CEO of BioDrain Medical; Mark Lawlis named director of sales

Andcor Companies, Inc., the venture catalyst for Minnesota's most promising emerging companies, is pleased to announce it has successfully completed the search for the chief executive officer of BioDrain Medical, Inc., an early stage company creating competitively priced, environmentally safe systems for the collection and disposal of biohazardous fluids that result from surgical procedures and post-operative care.

In his new role, Kevin will be responsible for the development and implementation of the overall strategic and tactical plans that will maximize profitable growth and return on investment for the company and its shareholders.

"I am extremely excited to be a part of BioDrain," said Davidson. "The company addresses key environmental and safety concerns in addition to having been very well received to date by health care institutions. The existing management and Board have vast experience in the health care sector and will be valuable resources as we bring the product to market and expand into this very large, relatively untapped sector. I look forward to working with this strong team to optimize the potential that exists at BioDrain."

Davidson most recently served as chief financial officer and vice president of business development for Orthorehab, a manufacturer and marker of orthopedic and rehabilitation medical products, where he was instrumental in its sale to Otto Bock HealthCare. Prior to joining Orthorehab, Kevin was Managing Director of Arthur Andersen's Healthcare Corporate Finance group. Previous experience includes vice president of finance at Dacomed Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of urological devices. Following the sale of Dacomed, Kevin became the chief financial officer of MedVision, Inc., an early stage telemedicine company. He has also held the position of corporate development manager at St. Jude Medical, Inc., and has been an independent consultant for Innocept GmbH, a German manufacturer of urological devices, and other Minnesota-based medical start-ups. Kevin received his B.A. in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College and an M.B.A. from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.

"We are excited about having Kevin as a part of the Biodrain team," said Thomas McGoldrik, chairman of BioDrain. "I am confident that with his experience and proven leadership ability we will be successful in developing the plan and capitalization necessary to realize the business potential of the Biodrain technology. It has been a pleasure working with Andcor on this project. They truly have a unique understanding of the needs of a start-up organization."

In addition to Kevin, Andcor also assisted in the recruitment of BioDrain's new director of sales, Mark Lawlis, formerly of Invivo Corporation (Intermagnetics General Corporation), a leading producer of vital signs monitoring devices used during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures.
