Andcor places CEO at Phraxis

Wayzata, MN – March 1, 2010

Andcor Companies, Inc., the executive search firm for emerging growth companies, is pleased to announce Phraxis Inc., a vascular access technology for interventional nephrologists, has hired Michael J. Kallock as its chairman & chief executive officer.

Dr. Mike Kallok has more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry and most recently has been Cardiovascular Systems Inc.'s chief scientific officer. Prior to that, Mike was CEO of CSI from December 2002 through 2007. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Aerospace Engineering Sciences, a master’s degree from Purdue University in Engineering Sciences, and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Biomedical Engineering.

Before joining Cardiovascular Systems, Mike held positions at Medtronic Inc., Angeion Corporation, Myocor, Inc. and Boston Scientific Corporation.
